Batter Fried Calamari (Squids)

Squid rings dipped in a light batter and quickly fried in hot oil, served with tartar sauce. Most Goans prepare this at their homes and all most all Goan restaurants and shacks serve this dish as a starter. Very much kid friendly recipe as its non spicy.

Recipe Notes

  1. Less than a minute to a minute is perfect to deep fry squids.
  2. Overcooking squids tends to make them taste rubbery.
