Chicken Cafreal Rolls

Cafreal rolls are quick to make if you have the cafreal masala ready and handy. Makes a great meal for kids lunchboxes. Makes a great brunch as well.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Boneless chicken (sliced into pieces or cubed)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Cafreal Masala (See recipe notes below for masala recipe link)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 Onion (sliced)
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 medium sized Tomato (sliced into rings)
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise (See recipe notes below for Homemade Mayonnaise recipe link)
  • 2 Hot dog Buns/Breads

Instructions

  • 1 Marinate the chicken pieces with salt, lemon and cafreal masala. Leave aside for 15 minutes.
  • 2 Fry the chicken pieces in a skillet with 1 tbsp oil.
  • 3 Slit the hot dog buns. Apply 1 tbsp each on both sides of bread with mayonnaise. Arrange the chicken pieces.
  • 4 In the same skillet add, 1 tbsp oil. fry the onion with pepper and a pinch salt.
  • 5 Fry till soft and brown.
  • 6 Arrange fried onion over the chicken. Arrange tomato slices on other side of the bread .
  • 7 Cover like a sandwich with the other part of the bread and enjoy!!! For kids luncboxes, wrap the rolls in foil.
