Moong (Green Gram) Sprouts Stir Fry

Moong Sprouts Stir Fry is a snack loaded with proteins. Moong sprouts are very healthy and it’s very easy to make sprouts at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Sprouted moong
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 Onion, Sliced
  • 4 Garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 Green chilly, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Freshly grated coconut
  • Salt, as per taste

Instructions

  • 1 Boil the sprouts in water and turmeric powder, do not overcook. They should be a bit crunchy.
  • 2 In a pan, add 1 tbsp oil, sliced onion, garlic and green chilies. Fry till onions are soft and translucent.
  • 3 Add the moong, and coconut and more salt if required. Stir fry till any water in it dries up completely.
  • 4 Serve with lime and enjoy it as a snack or a side dish.

Recipe Notes

  • Use this stir fry to make chaats.
  • Make it a kid friendly recipe by eliminating the use of green chilies.
