Pork Chilly Fry

This is a quick and easy recipe for pork chili fry. Marinated with spice powders and flavored with kokum and tamarind, here’s my version of pork chilly fry.

Ingredients

For Pork Margination:-
  • 500 grams Pork, boneless
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Meat Masala (any meat masala)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
Other Ingredients:-
  • 2 medium sized Onion (sliced)
  • 2 medium sized Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Tamarind paste
  • 5 Dry Kokum (Binda Sola)
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  • 1 Marinate pork with the ingredients mentioned. Leave aside for at least 15 mins.
  • 2 In a skillet, add oil. Fry Onions till soft. Add tomatoes and green chili and cook for 5 mins.
  • 3 Add marinated pork, tamarind paste, kokum and cook for 10 mins, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 Add ¼ cup water, cover skillet with lid and cook for next 20 mins till meat is cooked and the chili fry is dry. Adjust salt as required. Serve with bread or rice.
