Strawberries & White Chocolate Muffins

Strawberry and white chocolate muffins are quick and easy to make and great for breakfast or as an evening tea treat. I came across this recipe at Godrej's session at a supermarket back in India.

  • 100 grams Butter (At room temperature)
  • 75 grams Granulated white sugar
  • 2 Eggs (At room temperature)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 150 grams All-pupose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp Baking powder
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 75 grams Fresh Strawberries (Chopped)
  • 75 grams White Chocolate (Chopped)


  • 1 Preheat oven at 170 deg C (350 deg F) Line cupcake tray with 12 cupcake liners. In a bowl with paddle attachment or electric hand beater, beat butter and sugar till fluffy.
  • 2 Add the eggs, one by one, beating well after each addition.
  • 3 Add the vanilla extract. Fold in the flour with baking powder, white chocolate and strawberries. Add the milk. Fold in well.
  • 4 Fill in the cupcake molds with batter and sprinkle white chocolate topped with strawberry (Optional).
  • 5 Bake for 20 minutes or till the top is lightly brown.
  • 6 Cool for 5 minutes or at room temperature and then serve.
