Trifle Glasses

Trifle made from sponge cake, jelly, custard and cream is a popular, tasty and an all-time favorite dessert at Goan parties . Great dessert for parties and for kids.

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 6 tbsp Custard powder (vanilla flavoured)
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 Jelly Packet (Raspberry flavoured)
  • 1 Canned Mixed fruit tin
  • Cake (leftover cake,any flavour, crumbled)
  • 2 cup Whipped creamed


  • 1 Mix custard powder in 1/4 cup water. Bring milk and sugar to boil, lower flame and mix the custard powder and stir till a thick cream is formed. Leave aside to cool. Then refrigerate it. Take jelly packet , follow instructions on the pack and refrigerate the jelly.
  • 2 Take disposable serving glasses. Arrange some canned fruit in them as shown.
  • 3 Next, scoop out jelly and arrange over the fruits.
  • 4 Take a sufficient amount of custard and arrange over jelly.
  • 5 Crumble the cake and press in some cake crumbles over custard as shown.
  • 6 Top most layer is the whipped cream layer.
  • 7 Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours. Serve chilled . Enjoy!!!
