Tutti Frutti Cake

A moist cake loved by most kids and grown ups as well , that can be done in a jiffy ! Prefer to make this cake anytime of the year as an evening tea time snack. Posting this recipe at this time of the year so that you can make this cake very quickly without much mixing or effort required as you might be busy with rest of the Christmas sweets preparations and can opt to make this cake at the end, a day before Christmas!

Dry Ingredients:-
  • 1 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/3 cup Tutti Frutti
  • 3/4 cup Granulated white sugar
  • 1/3 cup Milk powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients:-
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 2 Eggs (well beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence (or any other essence)


  • 1 Preheat oven at 350 deg f (180 deg c). Mix all dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another bowl.
  • 2 Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
  • 3 Mix well for a nice cake batter.
  • 4 Pour batter in a greased cake tin (8-9 inch pan) or a cake loaf bake pan.
  • 5 Bake for about 35-45 minutes. (After 35 minutes insert a toothpick in center of cake and check if it comes out clean). Loaf tin takes longer to bake as compared to round or square pans.
  • 6 Cool completely on a wire rack. Slice . Serve !
