Veg Fried Rice

There are many ways to make fried rice. This recipe is a simple and easy one that combines the rice with the fresh taste of bell peppers, green peas, and other vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Bell peppers (Diced. Use red, green and yellow bell peppers)
  • 1/4 cup Green Peas
  • 1/4 cup Carrots (Diced)
  • 1/4 cup French Beans (cut as desired)
  • 4 tbsp Corn
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 cup Rice (cooked)
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder

Instructions

  • 1 Heat oil in a skillet. Add all the veggies. Add salt. Stir fry them for about 5 minutes.
  • 2 Add pepper powder and soya sauce.
  • 3 Mix in the rice gently.
  • 4 Serve with any Chinese veg, chicken or prawn dish. (See Recipe Notes below).
