1 |
Grind the temprado masala and keep aside. (See recipe notes below for recipe link for masala). |
 |
2 |
Wash the beef steak slices. |
 |
3 |
Bang each beef slice with a meat pounder. |
 |
4 |
Add salt and the green masala. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes. |
 |
5 |
Prepare the salad , while the meat marinates. In a small glass bowl , add the vinegar, salt , sugar and chilies. Stir well till sugar dissolves. |
 |
6 |
Pour the vinegar salad dressing over the cabbage. Keep this aside. |
 |
7 |
Add the beaten egg into the beef slices. Mix well. Coat the beef slices with rawa on both sides. |
 |
8 |
In a pan, add oil and shallow fry the meat for about 2 minutes on each side. |
 |
9 |
Fry till you get a nice golden brown color on both sides. Drain steaks on paper towel. |
 |
10 |
Serve with the above prepared salad and tomato slices and enjoy as a starter. You can also stuff these steaks in Goan Pao along with the salad and enjoy it as a sandwich (cutlet Pao). See notes below. |

Sure , a must try ๐
Hi Xanti,
Made this today. However when I was trying to flip it over the rawa covering got separated from the steak. Pls advise.
Thanks
Inno
Hello innocenia
Oops !
Hmmm, well … I hope you added the beaten egg into the steak slices. In case the beef was more , probably one more egg was required . While flipping too , just be a little more careful(gentle ) …
