1 | In a skillet, add oil. Add the red chili. Add mustard till they start popping. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle. Fry onion till soft. Add all the masala powders. | |
2 | Add in the grated beetroot , green chili and salt. Cover and cook on medium for 8-10 minutes. (Do not add water, but you can sprinkle a tbsp water .) | |
3 | Add the coconut and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. | |
4 | Serve hot as a side dish or along with chapatis. |
