Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are everyone’s favorite. Bake these Crispy edge , soft centered cookies at home !

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar (light)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions

  • 1 In a mixing bowl, beat both the sugars and the butter till light and fluffy.
  • 2 Beat in the egg, add the flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla Essence. Mix well.
  • 3 Add the chocolate chips and form a dough. Chill dough for about 30 minutes. (See Recipe Notes)
  • 4 Preheat oven at 200 deg C(392 deg F) Form cookies dough balls (about 1 tbsp each) and place them apart as show.
  • 5 Bake for 12 mins. Leave them on cookie rack to cool.
  • 6 Store them in air tight container. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Chilling the dough is optional. You can bake it right away. Chilling the dough makes it easier to work with.
