In a bowl, beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add egg, beat well, and add the vanilla and almond extract and the flour along with salt and baking powder.
Form a dough.

Divide dough into 2 balls.
Roll out approximately 12” wide and ½ “thick. Use cutter to cut out shapes.

Preheat oven at 350 deg F.
Place cookies on baking sheet.
Bake for about 6-7 mins or until cookies are slightly brown at edges.
Cool completely before icing.

Prepare Icing with mixing all ingredients under ‘cookie icing’.
Decorate cookies with icing along with the colored sprinkles.

Allow to dry completely for at least 2 hours.
Store in air tight containers. |

If I want the conversion to GM’s instead of cups, how much would I have to use? Especially butter?

1 cup butter is 225 grams.
please check the online weight converters available (google) to convert rest ingredients from cups to grams measure. A lot of converters available now on internet.
Do u pay the icing all through the cookie or use a piping bag to pipe?
