Wash the crabs. |

Clean them. (See recipe notes below on How To Clean Crabs step wise link). |

Separate the crab claws and the body parts. |

In a skillet, add oil. Add kashmiri chilies, garlic, ginger , onion. Fry for about 5 minutes. |

Add the chili powder, turmeric powder, green chilies, slat, tamarind water and jaggery piece. Mix well. |

Add the crabs and coconut. Mix well. |

Cover and cook for about 8-10 minutes. |

Keep lid of the skillet open and cook till this preparation is dry. |

Sprinkle coriander leaves. Enjoy! |
