1 | Soak the dried shrimps in 1 cup water for about 15-20 minutes. | |
2 | Heat oil in a skillet. Fry onions, salt and green chilies till onion turn soft. | |
3 | Drain the soaked shrimps from water . Fry them for 3 minutes. | |
4 | Next, add turmeric powder along with coconut. Mix well. | |
5 | Add 1/4 cup water, cover skillet and cook for 10 minutes. | |
6 | Add vinegar. Fry for another 2 minutes till the chilly fry is dry. | |
7 | Serve along with rice and curry. (See Recipe notes below). |
