Prepare the Stuffing(Chunn):- |

Soak the chana dal for atleast 2 hours. |

Boil the dal using 1/2 cup water and a pinch of salt for about 10 minutes till t he dal is cooked. Drain the water. Keep the dal aside. |

In another vessel, add 1/4 cup water and jaggery and allow it to melt. Then add the coconut and a pinch salt. Cook till the water dries. (Not too dry, keep the filling a little moist). |

Then add the chana dal along with cardamom powder. |

Mix well. Now your filling(chunn) is ready. Keep it aside. |

Prepare the Leaf Cones:- |

Wipe the jackfruit leaves with a moist cloth till they are clean. |

Take a leaf, make a cone. |

Using a toothpick, secure the leaf tightly to form the cone. |

Prepare the remaining cones from the leaves the same way. Keep them aside. |

Prepare the Holle:- |

In a bowl, add the rice flour and 1/2 tsp salt. Add 2 cups hot boiling water to the flour. Mix well till it forms a nice spreadable consistency. (Add more water if required to form the paste) |

Now apply this rice paste to the leaves cones in the inside. |

Fill the cones with the coconut stuffing. |

Fill all the cones. |

Now seal the top of the cones with some flour. |

Place the cones in a steamer. |
|

Steam them for about 10-12 minutes. |

Remove them from the steamer. Allow them to rest for about 10 minutes. |

Serve! Remove the jackfruit leaf and enjoy the holle!!! |
