Instant Rice Dosas

Quick and easy recipe for rice flour and semolina dosas without fermentation that can be made in a jiffy for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 1/4 cup Rava (semolina)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 medium sized Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Green chili (chopped, do not use for kids)
  • 8 Curry leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander (chopped)
  • Oil (as required)

Instructions

  • 1 In a bowl, mix all ingredients (except oil) with 2 ¼ cups water. Batter should be very thin consistency.
  • 2 Heat a skillet. Drop in some oil. (Skillet should be very hot) Take a ladle full of batter and drop it from a height from the sides towards the center.
  • 3 Fry on one side till nice and brown, flip and fry on the other side as well.
