Clean meethi leaves, wash well and chop them. Keep aside.
In a skillet, add oil and fry onions till soft. Add the green chilies and garlic. Fry for a minute.

Add turmeric powder, salt and potatoes. Fry for 2 minutes. Add ¼ cup water. Cover and cook potatoes till half cooked. |

Add the meethi leaves. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes till done.

Put off flame and leave the skillet covered till ready to serve. |

Serve bhaji hot as a side dish with rice, Goan curry and fish. (See Recipe notes below) OR enjoy it with rotis alone. |
