Hi Xanti, The recipe sounds interesting. In the picture I see the prepared pastry dough divided in two parts and 8 layers I guess. How much of that portion do I need to use to prepare the puff is something I am not clear about. Do I have to use all 8 layers at one time? Kindly explain to enable me prepare.
Hi Ann
In the picture you see 4 portions of the dough (folded , so looks like 8 to you )
Itβs the total pastry dough that I obtained in that recipe .
So while making the pattice , use one portion (out of the 4 ) roll out and fill and go ahead
Thank you Xanti. Will definitely try it..
Hi Xanti, I made the pastry from scratch and then used it for making patties. The patties looked nice but the texture of it was powdery. It was not flaky as it is supposed to be. What could be reason?
Hi Janice
Make sure you used the exact amount of gutter (Chilled)
If itβs cut down then it will be dry
We made the mushroom patice today with ready made pastry and it was absolute delight. Going to make other type of patice and will let you know how it turns out. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing your feedback π
