1 | Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl (not the cashew nuts) . Keep aside. | |
2 | In a bowl, add sugar and ghee. Beat till light and fluffy. | |
3 | Mix the dry ingredients. | |
4 | Make a dough. Cover dough and keep aside for 10 minutes. Preheat oven at 200 deg c. | |
5 | Make into 10-12 balls and slightly flatten them on a baking tray. | |
6 | Bake for about 10-12 minutes. Remove tray from oven and leave cookies on baking tray for 5 minutes before you can transfer them on cooling rack. Cool completely on wire rack. | |
7 | Serve and enjoy the nankhatai! |
At what temperature should the nankhatai be baked.
hi Chris, its to be baked at 200 Degrees Centigrade.
Could you please tell me whether the top and bottom heating is to be used to bake nankatias, bolinghas and other cookies.

What kind of oven are you using? Oven or an OTG?
Its an electric oven. where I can use top heating or bottom heating as well as both heating.

But if you have tried baking cookies in air fryer then you van go ahead and it should work fine …

I tried the nankhatais recipe today… Initially it ws extra soft so cudnt form d balls so added additional maida n sugar… They came out well however they dint brown lk how yrs did…. They were baked perfectly…. I used pure ghee… D colour of the dough ws whittish compared to yrs… Whr did i go wrong
