In a bowl, add onion , salt and ginger. Nicely crush the onions with your hands. Keep aside for 10-15 mins .(so that the onion releases water). |

Next, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Add 2 tbsp oil. Mix well. |

Sprinkle sufficient water little at a time while mixing , to get a nice thick batter .(that coats the back of a spoon, not too runny). |

Heat oil, drop the batter little by little in hot oil (keep on medium flame) forming bhajis / bhajas / pakodas. |

Fry on one side till golden brown and flip on other side. |

Fry till nice and golden brown color. Drain on a absorbent paper towel. |

Serve hot with chai. Enjoy! |

Is rice flour really necessary?

Rice flour is not necessary , but I add it to make them crispy .
Going to enjoy making this, looks pretty easy and I’m sure it will taste good.
