1 |
Keep ingredients ready. |
|
2 |
In a bowl, beat egg and sugar till well beaten. |
|
3 |
Add in the coconut milk and both the flours. |
|
4 |
Mix well till the batter is nice and thick but free flowing. |
|
5 |
This is a rose cookie mold that I used. |
6 |
Heat oil in a vessel, place the mold in the oil for few seconds(About 30 seconds). |
|
7 |
Dip the mold in the batter (Half way through to the mold, Don't dip the mold fully into the batter! ). |
|
8 |
Immediately, place the mold in the oil. |
|
9 |
The rose cookie will release by itself from the mold. (If it does't , then use a knife or some spoon to remove the rose cookie off the mold). |
|
10 |
Fry till you get a lovely color on it. (See recipe notes below ) . |
|
11 |
Drain the rose cookies on a paper absorbent towel. Allow them to cool completely. Repeat to make more rose cookies till all the batter has been used up. |
|
12 |
Store them in a air tight container. (They should stay good for 1-1.5 months).
Serve them as required. Enjoy ! (See recipe notes below). |
|
Where did you bought the mold please
Thanks

I got it from Goa .
If you live in Mumbai the mould is available in Cheap Jack on Hill Rd in Bandra West

Hi xianti , am planning to use Eastern coconut milk , itβs concentrated . Should I still go with 300 ml percup or dilute with water ? Pls advise . Thanks
Hi gayathri
Coconut milk should be like milk consistency . So you may want to dilute it
