Goan Mince Cutlet Pão

Beef mince cooked in Goan style, form cutlets , shallow fried and served in local Goan bread (Pao) along with salad.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Mince
  • 1 Egg (beaten with 1 tbsp water)
  • Rava (fine semolina as rewuired)
  • Oil (to shallow fry)
  • 2 cup Cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Tomato Ketchup
  • 15 Goan Pao (see recipe notes below for recipe)

Instructions

  • 1 Cook the mince (see recipe notes below for recipe). Follow steps 1-7 of the recipe in notes below. Divide mince mixture into 15 equal portions.
  • 2 Shape into cutlets. Dip in egg and then into rava.
  • 3 Heat oil in a skillet. Shallow fry the cutlets.
  • 4 Flip on other side.
  • 5 In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, salt and vinegar.
  • 6 Assemble the cutlet pão. Apply some ketchup to bread. Place the cutlet.
  • 7 Add in some cabbage salad.
  • 8 Enjoy!!!
