Marzipan Sweets

Once you have learnt to make your own marzipan at home , now try these steps to make marzipan sweets using rubber / silicone molds!

  • 1 portion Marzipan (see recipe notes below for recipe link to marzipan)
  • Liquid food colors of your choice (at least 3 colors)


  • 1 Prepare your marzipan. (See recipe notes below for recipe link to marzipan).
  • 2 Divide marzipan into 3 portions (since I used 3 colors). Mix color in each portion and knead well .
  • 3 Use little portion of marzipan (color of your choice) and press them firmly into the rubber / silicone molds.
  • 4 Unmold them.
  • 5 Allow them to dry 4-6 hours or overnight. (see recipe notes below).
  • 6 Or you can also make marzipan fruits using marzipan. (see recipe notes below for Marzipan Fruits link).
  • 7 Use marzipan to cover cakes (See recipe notes below for Traditional Christmas Cake recipe link).

Recipe Notes

  1. One portion marzipan refers to my basic recipe of marzipan.
  2. Mix colors and knead well to get a uniform color to each marzipan portion.
  3. Store marzipan in airtight container once well dried.
  4. Store for about 15 days.
