Savory Chicken Crepes

These are cheesy , non spicy chicken crepes very popular among kids as well as grown ups.

For the Crepe Batter:-
  • 1/2 cup All-pupose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • Pinch Baking powder
For Chicken Stuffing:-
  • 250 grams Boneless chicken
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 Cheese slice or 4 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Butter


Prepare the Crepes:-
  • 1 Prepare pancake batter using flour, salt, baking powder, egg and sufficient water to make a pancake consistency batter.
  • 2 Grease a 6 inch skillet, and pour a ladle of batter. Cook for about a minute.
  • 3 Prepare crepes from remaining batter the same way.
Prepare the Chicken Stuffing:-
  • 4 In a skillet, add oil. Fry onions till soft. Add the chicken , salt. Cook till chicken is done.
  • 5 Keep stuffing at one side of pan. On the other side of the pan, add the butter along with 1 tbsp flour. Fry for a minute. Add the milk. Mix well till the mixture thickens.
  • 6 Add the cheese and pepper. (Or sprinkle pepper later while stuffing the crepes).
  • 7 Filling is ready, keep aside. (See recipe notes below).
Assemble The Crepes:-
  • 8 Take a crepe. Place sufficient amount of stuffing in center.
  • 9 Wrap the crepe.
  • 10 Serve.

Recipe Notes

You can also add mushrooms and other veggies for the stuffing.
