Beer Steamed Lobster with Lemon Butter

Lobster tails steamed with beer and served with a rich lemon butter. A quick and easy recipe. Do give it a try.

Ingredients

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:-
  • 1/4 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 6 Garlic cloves (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
  • Salt (as per taste)
Other Ingredients:-
  • 1 Beer can
  • 4 Lobster tails

Instructions

Prepare Lemon Butter Sauce:-
  • 1 In a vessel, add the lemon juice, garlic and butter.
  • 2 Allow it to come to a boil. Add salt (if using unsalted butter). Keep the sauce aside.
Steam the Lobster Tails:-
  • 3 Cut open the lobster tail and remove the black thread from it.
  • 4 Pull the shells slightly away from the meat part.
  • 5 In a vessel, add beer. Allow it to come to a boil.
  • 6 Place 2 lobster tails at a time on a steamer plate.
  • 7 Allow it to steam on high flame for 10 minutes only.
  • 8 Serve the lobster tails with the sauce.
  • 9 Pour the sauce along with some garlic over the lobster meat. Enjoy!!!
