Catfish Ambot Tik

Ambot Tik yet another Goan speciality. ‘Ambot’ means 'sour' and ‘Tik’ means 'spicy' in Konkani language. Here, I have used dry kokum and vinegar as the souring agent and red dry chilies for the spice. Enjoy this Goan specialty along with hot steamed rice! Prepared this ambot tik today with the catfish caught by my husband who is very fond of fishing.
