Xanti is it ok to use chicken mince instead of beef.

You are simply the best Xanti. I prepare most of my dishes from your recipes. I get the nostalgic, authentic taste of the dishes prepared by my mom in the good old days. Always wanted to drop a line to thank u. U r really doing a great job. Teaching Amateurs like me to fall in love with the kitchen. I hated it until I found u. THANK U.
Thanks Vera
You brightened my day šthanks so much for your words and for your appreciation

Tried this recipe today and it turned out awesome, though a bit spicy. Will use less chilly next time. šThanks for all the great recipes you share.
Hi Myra
Thanks for trying the recipe and for sharing your feedback…
well , depends on how spicy chilies each one uses , accordingly adjust it as you would know the spice level by now when you cook with those chilies on daily basis š
Hello dear.
Tried the meatball curry and it was lip smacking delicious.
Just had a query though since I followed your step by step recipe… I noticed that you didn’t wash the mince. I usually do pass it in a little water to drain the blood and cook the regular kheema recipes.
On checking with a friend she said she washed the mince and the balls would break when frying and in the curry as well so I didn’t wash for your recipe and noticed that it stayed firm.
So please guide me here if I’m doing the right thing in washing the mince before cooking because I came across now that many don’t.
Thank you in advance… God bless.
Hi Nabila
Iām based in the US …all the meats are packaged that are clean and ready to be cooked … usually donāt need washing …
So I donāt wash it …
No idea if meatballs break after washing mince … should be fine as we add egg to bind it together
Thank you for this recipe m. Really helpful. God bless you.
Thanks so much
I tried out the recipe and it turned out fabulous. and delicious. Thanks for sharing. However, I made it with ground chicken and skipped the egg, instead I used two tablespoon sooji (rava). I used all ground spices.(I can just imagine using whole spices which would be so much tastier). I will definitely try out some other recipes of yours.
A friend of mine in Australia introduced me to your website.
Thanks for trying the recipe and for sharing your feedbackā¦
Dear Xanti,
Followed your recipe for goan meat ball curry, loved the authentic taste and aroma.
Thankyou.
Thanks for sharing your feedback
Hello! I tried making this dish today and it turned out quite good. Just a slight variation, I roasted the masala spices first and then powdered them instead of making a paste. Used a bit of the powder in the meatballs. It turned out great! Thanks for sharing, Xanti.
Thanks, I should try that too..
