Veg Noodles

Vegetable noodles are a very popular Indo Chinese dish. Boiled noodles tossed in garlic, ginger, chopped vegetables, soy sauce and pepper.

Ingredients

  • 110 grams Noodles (fine, cooked(considering 55 gms per person))
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 4 Garlic cloves (sliced)
  • 1 inch Ginger Piece (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Red bell peppers (sliced long)
  • 1/4 cup Green bell peppers (sliced long)
  • 1/4 cup Yellow bell peppers (sliced long)
  • 1/4 cup French Beans (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 2 Carrots (cut into long strips)
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce (Low sodium)
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • Salt (as required)

Instructions

  • 1 Cook noodles as per instructions on pack and keep aside. In a pan, add oil. Fry the garlic and ginger for a minute. Add the bells peppers,french beans and carrots. Fry for 5 minutes.
  • 2 Add the soya sauce, pepper powder and ½ tsp salt.
  • 3 Stir in the cooked noodles. Mix carefully.
  • 4 Serve with any chicken or prawn Chinese dish. (See Recipe notes below).
