Knead the dough with all ingredients using sufficient water. Keep aside for at least 15 minutes. |

Divide dough into 5 equal portions.
Roll out the each dough ball into a 6 inch circle. |

Apply generous amount of ghee over circle and sprinkle some flour over it. |

Form pleats as show in the picture starting from one edge till next edge till it forms like a pleated paper fan. |

Roll the pleated dough in a tight circle. Join the edges. |

Do this for all the five dough balls. |

Dip each of them in wheat flour and roll out lightly again. You will see the layers. |

Heat tawa/ griddle. Place paratha over it. Flip and add ghee all over this partially cooked side. |

Flip other side and apply ghee as well to this side. |

Fry till nice and brown on both sides. Using your hands slightly squish paratha so that the layers are visible.
Enjoy Laccha paratha with gravy of your choice.
