Eggless Butter Cookies

These eggless butter cookies are crunchy and full of flavor. These make a great side snack for kids.

  • 100 grams Butter (unsalted)
  • 100 grams Granulated white sugar
  • 4 tbsp yoghurt (curds)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 200 grams All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 tbsp Custard powder (Vanilla flavored custard powder)


  • 1 Mix all-purpose flour, custard powder, salt, baking soda. Keep it aside. In a bowl with beater attachment or electric hand beater, beat butter with sugar till light and fluffy.
  • 2 Add the yoghurt. Mix well. Add vanilla essence.
  • 3 Fold in the flour mixture (dry ingredients).
  • 4 Preheat oven at 350 deg F (175 deg C). Fill the cookie mold press with design blade attachment of your choice.
  • 5 Line a baking sheet tray with parchment paper. Press the mold (see instructions that came along with the cookie press mold set) to drop sufficient amount of cookie batter on tray.
  • 6 Bake cookies for 15-20 minutes (After 15 minutes keep a check ) till cookies turn nice and brown. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
  • 7 Enjoy the cookies with a hot cup of tea or coffee!!!
