Cook the roast meat (see recipe notes below for recipe ). Allow it to cool. Slice the roast meat and cut into strips. (You can also cut meat into cubes). |

In a skillet, heat oil and fry onions till soft. |

Add the tomatoes and cook them till soft. |

Add the meat along with the gravy. Mix well. |

Mix in the tamarind water, stir fry the chilly fry for about 3-4 minutes on high heat. Adjust the salt. Add the green chilies. |
