  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Pure ghee (clarified butter)

Instructions

  • 1 In a vessel, roast the rava along with the cloves on a low flame till you get a nice aroma of the cloves and rava. This will take about 5-7mins. (Make sure not to brown the rava too much !) Remove and keep rava aside.

  • 3 Add the mango puree.
  • 4 Mix well. Let this come to a boil.
  • 5 Lower the flame, add the roasted rava.
  • 6 Give it a quick stir and see that it does not form lumps. Add Soaked saffron along with the milk.
  • 7 Add the cardamom powder.
  • 8 Mix well.
  • 9 Sheera is done once it all comes together and forms a ball.
  • 10 Serve at breakfast time or evening tea time. Enjoy!!! (Check recipe notes below for Sheera and Pineapple Sheera Recipes).
