| 1 | Wash the fish. | ![]() |

| 3 | Slit through the center of the fish and debone the fish as shown in the picture. You will get 2 boneless fillets of one mackerel. | ![]() |
| 4 | Repeat the same for all the fish. Apply salt and lemon juice to the fish. | ![]() |
| 5 | Apply the masala for the fillets. Leave aside for about 20-30 minutes. | ![]() |

But yes , the frozen indian ones (that come full frozen – uncleaned ones ) .
